ENCOUNTER CAMP

June 8-13, 2025 (Sunday-Friday)

 

A camp at Lubbock Christian University for those who have completed 8th-12th grades.

 

Dynamic classes, powerful worship and speakers, and lots of great times!

 

This camp is always a summer favorite!

 

The cost is $325 before May 25, but GRYM is paying $100 for each participant. So students are responsible for $225* of the cost.

SUNDAY, JUNE 8:
Meet at GR, 7:00a.
Eat breakfast before or bring it to eat on the way.

​

Also bring money for three fast food meals and $20 refundable key deposit.

FRIDAY, JUNE 13:
We’ll return Friday around 3:30 or 4:00p.

WHAT TO BRING

. Bible
. Pillow
. Bedding (dorm twin-sized bunk beds)
. Towel
. Toiletries (toothbrush, deodorant, shower stuff, etc.)

. Hand soap for the dorm
. Comfortable shoes
. Comfortable clothes for indoor and outdoor activity

>> Please note the dress code in the info from LCU/Encounter, especially concerning types of shirts and length of shorts

>> Prepare for the possibility of rain and cool weather
. Juniors and seniors may need clothes to get messy in (LCU sometimes does special activities for upperclassmen at Encounter)

Extra Money Needed:

. Three fast food meals
. Money for food in the evenings or at the gift/coffee shop (optional)

There are two forms every participant must do ONE TIME, NOT FOR EACH EVENT.

If you have done these previously, you do NOT have to do them again unless you have info to update (insurance or medical info; contact info; etc.)
